Campground Rate & Rules
2017 Festival Camping Rates
Utility Campsites: $100.00 (+$50*) for weekend
Primitive Campsites: $60.00 (+ $50*) for weekend
Modern Cabin: $320.00 (+ $50*) (for weekend (along with a $150 refundable deposit)
Rustic Cabin: $220.00 (+ $50*) for weekend (along with a $150 refundable deposit)
West Gazebo: $110.00 (+50*) for weekend no electricity
One (1) tent per campsite will be allowed
One (1) vehicle per campsite will be allowed; others park in designated parking areas only!
*$50 is added to each reservation for 2 paid week-end festival admissions. Sunday is free admission for the public. Additional admissions may be purchased.
Campsites and other lodging units must be paid IN FULL on May 1, 2017. Contact information for anyone reserving sites must be provided at that time. No more than 2 sites can be purchased per person. No sales will be accepted without all contact information and payment.
2017 Campground Rules & Regulations
Rules and regulations are to insure a safe and memorable event for everyone. Please read all rules and regulations.
All persons entering the campground area must possess a ticket to HORSETHIEF – The Festival. Anyone found in camping areas without the proper passes are subject to trespassing charges.
ATV’S, UTV’S, GOLF CARTS, AND OTHER RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ARE PROHIBITED FROM USE. THEY WILL BE IMPOUNDED AND FEES ASSESSED.
Talking, singing, radios, televisions, etc. must be kept at a volume that will not disturb other guests. Absolutely no amplified PA systems, DJ’s or Sound Systems will be permitted or operated in any camping area.
Please be courteous to your neighbors. Have fun but respect others – anyone acting abusive or causing trouble will be removed from the festival grounds.
All minors attending HORSETHIEF – The Festival must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian.
No sexually aggressive or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
People who sneak into HORSETHIEF – The Festival without paying will be ticketed for trespassing. Any violators of the law may be subject to arrest. Appropriate assigned wristbands must be worn at all times.
Campsites must be kept clean throughout the weekend. All campsites must be cleaned and all camping equipment removed by 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 11, Anything left behind will be considered garbage and will be disposed of. Anyone who has paid for additional camping days excluded, but must post proper permits on camper & vehicles.
Please do not park or abandon vehicles on the campground roads. Illegally parked vehicles will be impounded and impound fee assessed.
Charging for any kind of beverage at private parties is illegal. Unauthorized vending is strictly prohibited.
Kegs and glass containers are not allowed in any camping area. GLASS CONTAINERS ARE PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON HORSETHIEF PROPERTY AND WILL BE CONFISCATED. VIOLATORS WILL BE CHARGED WITH TRESPASS IF VIOLATIONS CONTINUE.
No Tailgating is allowed in any parking area or outside the concert arena fencing.
Dogs allowed on leash and under control at all times.
No pets allowed in the concert arena.
No weapons of any kind permitted in any area.
The swimming area and boat ramp will be closed from sunset to sunrise daily.
Fires will be allowed only in fire rings and cooking grills provided. All fires are to be attended at all times. Absolutely no bonfires or pit fires! Special instructions pertaining to fires may be in effect depending on weather conditions. Please ask our attendants for current information.
For the safety of our guests, traffic patterns have been established to eliminate two-way traffic. All guests are asked to observe the NO PARKING and ONE WAY signs, as well as the established speed limit of 20mph on roads and 5 mph in campsites. Cruising or riding in the back of pickup trucks is prohibited. There will be no incoming traffic allowed between the hours of 11:00pm – 6:00am Friday & Saturday.
Due to liability issues, grills & smokers exceeding 350 sq. inches of cooking space will not be permitted in the campgrounds.
We remind everyone camping in the HorseThief Reservoir Area that they do so at their own risk. HorseThief Reservoir, Pawnee Watershed, the promoters, managers, and owners of HORSETHIEF – The Festival assume no responsibility for the actions of any guests or visitors to these areas.
